What
comes with my order?
The basic vellum card come with: black and white printed
vellum, colored parchment style card backing, 3/8 inch satin ribbon
cut to length, and matching envelopes. The holes are drilled and complete
instructions and assembled samples are included. You can further personalize
your card by adding any of the optional upgrades available.
The upgrades are:
• Announcement or invitation assembly
• Sheer ribbon
• Color printing of the picture
• Return address printing on the back of the envelope
• Marble Style paper in blue or pink

The upgrades require an additional fee per card
Do you send me a proof before you print?
Yes, before we print the announcements we will send you an e-mail proof
in a jpeg format so you may you see the card. We will not print until
you are absolutely satisfied with the way the announcement looks.
How long
does it take to receive my order?
We ship most orders in about 4-5 days.
Can I
make changes to my order after I have submitted it?
Yes, you make any changes you would like up to the print. Once, your
announcements have been printed you may not make any changes unless
ordering again.
Can
I get my return address printed on my envelopes?
Yes, For an additional fee of .15ea. we will print your
return address on the back flap of your envelope.
Can I
send you a digital photo?
Digital photos work great. For digital photos
we recommend a 2 mega pixel camera or higher, set at the highest resolution
possible. Save digital images in a large JPG or TIF format. We do accept
“zipped” images if you need to reduce the size for emailing.
Digital photos can be emailed or saved to disc for snail mailing. If
you have developed your film to disc, email the largest, print quality
image. Your image must be large. Do not mail a printed digital image
no matter the print quality; resolution is lost in the recapture to
computer. Please do not crop your image. We will crop for best effect
on your announcement.
For 35 mm prints, you can scan the photo yourself
and save as a JPG or TIF file. The scanner needs to be set at the highest
possible scan quality. For the best scan be sure your scan surface and
photos are lint and smudge free. Please do not crop your image. We will
crop for best effect on your announcement.
If you prefer, you can mail your 35 mm print or photo disc.
Please print the last name from the order on the back with your order
number if available. Number your photos in order of preference. We cannot
accept any photos produced from a printer or copier and no Polaroid
photos.
If you wish to use a professional photo you
must submit a written release form with the photo. We cannot reproduce
professional prints without written permission from the photographer
or proof that negatives were purchased. Buying the prints does not release
the image for reprinting. We cannot use the photos emailed to you from
photographers. Those images are meant for email only not printing.
Can I
order over the phone?
Absolutely, we understand the importance of talking to a "live"
person. If we are busy, please leave a detailed message and we will
return your call promptly. You can call us at .
Who ties
the ribbon?
Assembly is not included in the price of announcements. It is very simple
to do yourself but is time consuming. Instructions will be included
with your order. If you would like us to do the work, there is an additional
charge.
What types
of photos work best?
Sharp focus is the key to an incredible announcement. We prefer glossy
prints. We can work with both color and black & white photos (often
times photo labs require more time to develop black & white photos).
Negatives or Polaroid's are not accepted. Lightly colored clothing and
background are preferred. Avoid bold and dark patterns in the background
of the photo. If the baby is small in your photo, with the face smaller
than the size of a quarter, announcement will not show much detail in
the face. It is always best to send several photos, marked in order
of preference. Please do not mail a digital printout of photo. A photographer
release form is necessary to produce announcements from professionally
taken photographs.
Will you
let me know if my photos are unacceptable?
We certainly will contact you if we feel the photos that you have chosen
will result in a poor announcement. Please be sure to send us several
photos to avoid this issue.
Can we
use our own wording?
Yes. There is a blank field on the order form for writing your own.
Please remember that we will produce announcements exactly the way you
have written or typed. Please keep wording under 8 lines.
Do you
accept credit cards?
We do accept Visa and Master Card and American Express. You may send
your credit card information along with your order to us online, by
mail or by fax.
Do you
offer gift certificates?
At this time we do not have gift certificates; however we do have plans
to add them in the future.
Can you
repair my photo?
We will resize and crop photos to suit our format. Occasionally photo
retouching is necessary to produce an acceptable announcement.
Do I get
my photo(s) back?
Yes, they will be returned with your order. Please print last name on
the back of each along with your order of preference.
I live
outside of the US, can I place an order?
Yes. Orders can only be produced in languages with the same alphabet
as English. If the language is not English, we require the typed copy
from you.
Can I
reorder if I need more?
Yes, you may reorder at any time; we will charge you the rate at which
you purchased your announcements originally.
Do you
send out samples?
Yes, we will be happy to mail a sample. Just
us your address to request a sample.
What if
I change my mind and cancel my order after it has been placed?
If you cancel your order after it has been placed for any reason; you
will be charged a $10.00 cancellation fee.
Can
I get my envelopes prior to recieving my order?
To receive your envelopes early please place your full order with us
and we will ship your envelopes free, via priority shipping. Make a
note in the customer comment box to pre ship your envelopes and we will
get those right out to you. When your baby is born just submit the baby's
statistics to us along with your photo so we may produce your baby announcement.
